Up again !

I was laid low with a back injury, but now I am up again and back to work. I did do a bit of cross stitching.

Whats Uppp?

I have been so busy working and stitching that I forget to blog.

I bought a bunch of mat board on Ebay and a mat cutter at Michaels. I plan on matting and framing these out, along with the previous bunch. When thats done you will see then again.

My first attempt at evenweave is a band sampler design by Lesa Steele called Bella:I am not sure at this point if I like working on evenweave instead of Aida. I find it slow going and I feel that my work is sloppy at this point.
Remember those paper pieced stars? Well, here they are made into pillows for my daughter Amala:

Stitching away

Thought that I would post today since it has been awhile now. I had a week and a half off of work and during that time I finished my Blackwork:
I finished a block for Rebecca in the CYOT RR. Her theme was mice. As I had absolutely nothing with mice, I paper-pieced a mouse:
